Good food and service. Reasonable prices.
Food was good,
The food, atmosphere, and service were all excellent. Nice clean restrooms also.
Their pancakes and cinnamon rolls are the best
An awesome place for breakfast. We regularly go to Pine Street on Sunday mornings after Church.
MoreGreat breakfast alternative to the Grand Haven typical places.
Basic diner food, nothing special. Friendly staff but kitchen can get backed up easily. It’s a convenient location for us when you don’t want to go into Grand Haven and wait at Morning Star. They do have a good cinnamon roll and I also like the Pine Street breakfast sandwich; the Summer Scramble is not very flavorful. The owner, Loretta, has always been very friendly.
MoreNice cozy local restaurant. Open for breakfast and lunch. Mostly older people and some families here. Food is good, nothing too amazing. Menu has a lot of good options.
MoreVery friendly and hard working staff Unfortunately that's were the good stops. The food seems to be pretty greasy then you can order the same thing multiple times and each time it comes out different. I think the kitchen staff probably need some training on consistancy. I'm sure turn over has something to do with it.
MoreAre safety team was there for breakfast wonderful and so was the service.
Great breakfast. Good service.
Fantastic buttermilk pancakes, great lean options and huge homemade cinnamon rolls. Topping it off Marcia is the best waitress ever!
MoreNice wait staff & good food. I always get the corn beef hash. Yumm🍻🍻🍻
Really great food at a really great price. My family has had a cottage here for over 20 years and this is still the best place to have breakfast. Only downside is the service can suffer when it gets busy which is often. We had to wait extra long for our bill on this particular day as well. I ended having to got to the counter to pay for our food
MoreOne of my favorite breakfast and lunch diners!
Food was great very good service
Diner style eating. Clean, friendly, and food is as expected, not gourmet, but looks like you could go fancy and get Eggs Benedict ;)
MoreHome cooked food, local and decent prices.
Food Always good. Service usually is too. The older lady that drinks a lot is my favorite. She has her vice, but shes awesome, and doesn't let my cup go empty.. the other waitress with the dark hair, seems rude sometimes. And other times shes pretty nice... weird. It's cheap, and it tastes good. That's all anyone cares about anyway right? It's got both of those points checked off.
MoreDelicious. Great service. The cinnamon rolls are otherworldly.
Great service Friendly staffStuffed hashbrowns are my go to breakfast
Good place to have Sunday brunch. There may be a wait to be seated. My sister found a vegetarian omelette to fit her needs and o ordered a mushroom and cheese. We both enjoyed our meal.
MoreI feel like I threw money away eating here
I LOVE this little unique gem of a restaurant! I ordered the exact same thing EVERY TIME! Eggs Florentine with hash browns and a Diet Coke. Man I wish I could cook like that! Wonderful atmosphere to boot.
MoreFood is always good. The staff is friendly and always seems to be happy to see you.
MoreGreat food! Loved the homemade white bread :)
Very good food, very good service.
Had breakfast with my family, food was good and service was great.
Got 2 stuffed hash browns, one came out with melted cheese and the other none. Strange. Great waitress!
MorePine Street Cafe is a nice little place. The food is downhome type of thing. I call it a greasy spoon. But I happily suggest it to people as a friendly place where the food will never disappoint you but it won't be gourmet either. Each of the four people I was with genuinely liked what they got. That is a significant thing since I had suggested we eat there and none of the others even knew it was there. The good folks at the cafe helped me keep my credibility!
MoreReally good food, and very friendly service
Great Food and service
Dude the service was awesome and so was the food! I loved how cute and quiet it was! We will definitely be going there again!
MorePeople are friendly and food was great!
Food is good and reasonably priced. Casual family dining. Kids menu available. Servers are friendly. Wait staff appears to be short handed as servers don't seem to be able to check back with their tables after the food has been delivered.
MoreMy mom and I wanted to try something new. We stopped here and the staff was so friendly! I got the chicken ranch wrap and chili cheese fries. Mine was so delicious! It came out quickly and was warm and fresh. My mom got their eggs, toast, and hashbrowns. Her toast was burnt but that was her only complaint. Overall great and quiet place to sit down and enjoy a nice meal.
MoreGood food, healthy portions, reasonable prices.
It was really basic breakfast with ok prices. That's about it. Nothing really great. Grits were the horrid instant microwave variety. Coffee wasn't great. And they had FAR too many people in that place. If you're concerned about social distancing DO NOT GO.
MoreGreat little place. Good food & service
Loved it! Great food and excellent service.
Good food...Breakfast burrito was yummy!!! Good service...
Great food and service. Cute establishment.
Good food great service. It is always very busy on the weekends, but worth the wait.
MoreMy first time at the Pine Street Cafe. Loved it. Great food and excellent service
MoreAwesome great service great food great prices
Its a nice hole in the wall place. Nothing too fancy or flavorful, and very affordable.
MorePure Michigan!Great coffee-perfect breakfast! Can’t wait till next visit
Loretta, Please retire. The restaurant will be better off without you. I wore a hat in your restaurant without taking it off. You couldn’t contain your distain and needed to make it known. This was a regular hat, nothing vulgar, and it was not comically oversized like a big foam hat. A hat. Couldn’t imagine how you would have treated me if I had sandals on, or god forbid a homosexual. All in all, if you’re not the type to tuck in your t-shirt into your jeans, find another place to eat, unless you like that sort of Ed Debvic’s vibe, only here it’s not a joke. I’ll take my hat and my business elsewhere next time I come into town. PS The food was okay.
MoreGood food, selection, & service!
I came here because I had heard good things from a friend, and since I was in town, I figured why not try it out for breakfast. The lady, Marcia, who brought out our food. clearly had a problem with me. I hadn’t done anything to her but she barely said a word to me and practically through the plate in front of me. I’m a rational person, so I thought she was probably having a bad day, but then I noticed how she was treating my two other friends (who happened to be white) with respect. She was Trying to chat with them but my friends also noticed how she was being with me (I’m Mexican) I feel like I spent 20 bucks for mediocre food and to be treated less than human. They need to re-evaluate some of their staff because their customer service is non existent.
